Driven by her passion and iconic creations, Julia has been able to deliver timeless clothing embellished with sustainability and traditional elegance.
Julia's talent was inherited through deep roots and generations, from her great grandfather, who was an interior and clothing designer himself. She soon proved her knack for understanding luxury brands and the fashion industry. After working her way up in the industry, she founded her brand with an aim to create comfortable, extremely feminine, and bespoke designs that speak for her customers' distinct personalities. Thanks to her creative endeavors, her designs took the luxury fashion industry by storm.
Over the years, Julia has successfully expanded her designer garments through boutiques in London, Monaco, Dubai and Tallinn and has adorned the most luxurious events with her remarkable creations. While her endless search for perfection has steered her success to new heights, her brand constantly strives to deliver charm, spirit and enclosed meaning in every design.
We recently caught up with her to uncover more about her creative inspirations and professional approaches, and here's how it went.
1) Thanks for joining us. Before we start, we'd love to know the early roots that led you to the fashion industry.
My ancestral roots and heritage. I am honored to be the descendant of a creative & talented family, whose members admire and love beauty in all its expressions. My grandfather was an interior and clothing designer himself, he created interior items & furniture objects and, of course, clothes, he even sewed leather boots by himself. His fame was distributed throughout the whole city. My grandmother was a seamstress, constructor& designer as well. My dream has always been to become a Fashion Designer and to create beautiful garments for women. Already at the age of 6, I began to sew dresses myself for my favorite Barbie dolls, even though no one had ever shown me how…In basic school, I always sewed and designed clothes for myself. And at the prom, of course, I was wearing the beautiful fuchsia color asymmetrical dress designed&created by me. I am extremely happy to do what I do really LOVE with all of my heart&soul, to create beautiful clothes for all the beautiful women with all of my passion and true dedication because this is what I am born for!
2) What's your favorite part about being a designer?
Clothes always meant for me much more than just a usual piece of fabric...Designer garments have a special spirit, enclosed meaning, and symbolism. Garments for me are really alive creatures! Each of them has its own unique and unrepeatable character. I believe that garments have their own soul&vibe. It’s an authentic and the most fascinating process of creating clothes at its core! I want to bring beauty to this world through the exquisite artisanship of luxury garments creation for all beautiful women. My mission is to help, inspire and encourage all the beautiful women from all over the world to be the most beautiful version of themselves by allowing them to unleash their real femininity&sensuality, to sparkle bright with authentic beauty by wearing Julia Aiste Luxury Design’s Garments. I am very happy to see my clients beautiful, self-confident, and admiring themselves. And we have an excellent tool to do that- Our Signature Style. It's all about creating&shaping the significant and ideal form. Garments can make wonders. Our cuts are designed in a special way to emphasize the advantages of a female figure, to bring to front your feminine side and beautiful silhouette, so that the garment you put on, builds up visually the flawless hourglass shape figure. There are special techniques to do that.
3) We appreciate your take on sustainable clothing. How have you incorporated that concept into your luxury designs?
Sustainability is reflected by the concept of less is more and how to look elegant. Or to say in other words sustainable conscious consumption. I design all my garments in sets, allowing the client to have a lot of combinations and elegant looks with fewer pieces (thoroughly thought-through design, cuts, color palette and combinations, and texture of all the collection items make this possible). All the garments harmonically complement each other, creating elegant timeless looks with this special iconic allure. And, as a final result, my beautiful clients can always look elegant like they have just visited their personal stylist. And finally, we offer a sustainable payment plan or elegant payment plan to support the idea of sustainable conscious consumption. It means we support conscious planning & well-thought valuable investment in yourself of premium class perfectly fitting garments with the possibility to pay in 2-3 equal parts at 0 elegant interest rate. 6) If you could change one thing in the fashion industry, what would that be? And how are you planning to make that change happen?
Definitely, that would be fast fashion. Not only does it threaten the fashion sector as a whole but sustainability and conscious consumption as well. Still, a lot of people are being in illusions that they cannot afford themselves buying quality designer garments and still consume fast fashion pieces and sales campaigns emotionally unnecessary items. As a result, they are disappointed, spent their time & money, have a full closet of ill-fitting items, and face again nothing to wear situation. Through thorough planning on acquiring timeless essential high-quality items, which can be worn in sets of complete looks, you can afford to buy quality pieces. Less is more. As a result, you need fewer items, which are compatible with each other by style and colors and get lots of completely flawless elegant looks. Our society still needs to change the perspective from an expense to a valuable investment in yourself.
