Bio: Farah AI Humaidhi, a passionate entrepreneur and interior designer, is thriving on her keen understanding and ceaseless passion for interiors. Her professional journey started in a design studio where she got acquainted with extensive knowledge about the real- world environment and customer-centric approaches. Soon after, Farah's passion steered her to start her own contracting company in her late twenties which further led her to countless achievements and successful projects.
While successfully nailing interior art with numerous commercial and residential projects on a large scale, in 2012, she established her first retail brand, 'Pieces by Farah', which mirrored her style, elegance, and elite taste in design and innovation. Apart from being functional curations, the products are designed to reflect uniqueness and elegance. From the beloved Mubkhars (traditional Arabic incense burners), coffee pots, vases, and fragrances to concrete pieces, her creations evoke elements of her creative endeavors and passion.
Soon she took her love for entrepreneurship and creativity to new heights and established her first furniture store, 'Farah Home'. The store is a complete haven of unique, extraordinary and timeless pieces. From outstanding accessories, serve ware and table ware, to unique furniture and décor pieces, the curation at the store is an ode to her excellence in design. The platform reached audiences from all over the GCC region and the world with a shopping growth from 500 to over 60’000 admirers in no time!
With the exponential growth, Farah wanted to share her experience and knowledge with her community. And she soon leveraged Youtube to elucidate aspiring designers in Arabic. Her channel became the very first interior design-focused content in Arabic and has shaped many enthusiasts into outstanding talents. With a growing community, she expanded her educational platform, Courses By Farah, into the digital realm.
Today, her courses enjoy ceaseless demand from audiences from all over the Arab world. Her entrepreneurial passion seemed unstoppable when she recently partnered with Dawrat.com, a leading online courses platform to create the Interior Design Academy. The academy is the first specialized online platform for interior design and construction courses.
In 2019, she built the region's largest interior design exhibition, Mirzaam Expo. Mirzaam, which took the industry by storm, got an overwhelming response and immense appreciation for becoming the largest and most organized platform in the interior design fraternity in Kuwait. This annual event exhibits suppliers from over 25 categories and the expo gained over 240’000 visitors between 2019 and 2020.
While her entrepreneurial journey is an immense source of inspiration for many, her ceaseless support to fellow designers and the community has built an unshakable foundation for her business and continues to serve new aspirations to every new talent in design and remarkable interiors to every client who works with her.
